Overlooking the rolling hills of the San Pasqual Valley in North County San Diego, Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery is one of Southern California's premiere wineries. The Mediterranean climate, with its long growing season and warm winters, provides the valley with optimal conditions to grow premium quality grapes. Founded by Ed & Jeannine Embly in 2014, this ten-acre estate produces fifteen varietals. The Winemaker, Mike Embly, has incorporated sustainable farming practices, planting the first vines in 2009. The vineyard reflects the values and traditions of the owners who are dedicated to producing quality wines and providing guests with an exceptional tasting experience. Each year this hidden gem releases over 25 different wines directly to its Estate Tasting Room, many of them award-winning. The meticulous care that goes into maintaining the vineyard and producing the wine is evident in every bottle.
